How to Use Tiny Scraps of Time to Carve Out a Writing Career
Utilize your best “thinking time”
Writer Mamas have a lot to think about, so you’ll need to have your wits about you, as best you can. Try to “work” during the time of day when you “think best.” Sometimes, you can get five times as much accomplished simply by working during your best time.

Greetings! Ya, I work best in the morning, so I try to get my writing done then, reserving the afternoon for blogging, reading, editing, research, doing my nails, etc. It doesn’t always work that way, and things may change if/when I get an actual full-time job, but for now mornings are it for me.
Cheers,
Marjorie
I’m much better working at night, when my son is asleep and I can concentrate. I’m usually too frazzled during the day or at work to accomplish anything!
And them of course there are days when you *intend* to sit and write (or type up what I’ve written in my case) but instead walking into a room and knowing exactly where everything is is too darn tedious so you reorganize everything instead. Then you can’t stop at one room and every where you go you get a great idea about a better way to organize… I just couldn’t stop today.
