I just received a very special UPS package! It’s the contest entries from Writer’s Digest’s “Are you a writer mama (or papa)?” contest. (!!!)
Before I even open it, I want to thank everyone who participated. I can’t wait to review them!

Thanks! It is so nice to know I am not the only mom trying to launch a writing career while raising children. I thought I would need to wait until they were all grown, but then I kept on having them! My youngest is 3 and my olderst is 13— 5 kids altogether. Over the past couple of years, I have been writing frequently, taking publishing courses and finishing my degree online. I just got my first laptop computer, so I hope I will start making money soon. I recently started entering writing contests to keep me motivated while I sharpen some of my old stories and articles and get them ready to submit to publishers.
I keep meaning to grab a copy of your book, but I think I’ll drop a few hints to my husband about a Mother’s day gift instead!
