Whidbey Writers Workshop Short Forms Contest

The students at Whidbey Writers Workshop invite their writing colleagues to enter the monthly Whidbey Students Short Forms Contest.

There is no entry fee and the winner will receive $50 for the piece of fiction, nonfiction, children’s, or prose poetry that “knocks the socks off” that month’s judge.

There is a new judge every month, so a writer can submit multiple times — each of us wears a different style of sock.

The contest is open to non-students, as well. The only requirement is a word count of fewer than 1001 words.

See www.whidbeystudents.com for more information.
