Recommended Film: “Sicko”

Michael Moore’s documentaries may or may not be your taste, but if you haven’t seen it yet, you definitely owe it to your children and your parents to watch this film. There’s plenty of thoughtful food for thought, delivered with a lighter touch than  some of Moore’s other more confrontational documentaries.

Personally, I respect Michael Moore for pursuing his truth through his art. I think he takes on issues that need public attention in today’s times.

Watch “Sicko” and then discuss it with friends. Such a big problem as our health care system is going to require  a seed of thoughtfulness be planted in all of our minds.

How strange—but true—that a film called “Sicko” would be that seed.

The Writer Mama E-zine Went Out Today…Twice!

Oops! Sorry, mamas.

The Writer Mama E-zine went out twice today in my caffeine-fueled attempt to get it out this morning.

You may think you are subscribed twice, but no worries. It was my bad.
