Day One: And the Winner is…

writer mama back to school giveaway badgeRene Eyerly!!!

Congratulations, Rene. You have won a copy of, The Beginning Writer’s Answer Book edited by Jane Friedman.

For an exciting recap of what you have won, please click here.

If you would be so kind as to send me your snail mail via e-mail at “writer mama at earthlink dot net” I will make sure you receive your winnings.

In case anyone is wondering, the winner each day is chosen by a random integer generator and has nothing to do with your comment, whether or not you know me, or your shoe size. 🙂

The comments yesterday were amazing! I had forgotten how awesome it is to hear everyone’s thoughts and feelings on these questions. Mar reminded me (she has been coming since the first giveaway in 2007) how just participating in the giveaway can be really eye-opening—whether you ever win anything or not!

I got a ton from reading everyone’s comments yesterday. I look forward to hearing more as the giveaway continues.

One thing I noticed is that there are many degrees of experience from new writer to intermediate writer to seasoned pro. How lucky we all are to have the benefit of everyone’s experiences and insights!

Thanks to everyone for participating. Onward! There are still plenty of books to win!

Please RSS subscribe to this blog and/or sign up for our monthly e-zine to stay in the know. 🙂

I’ll be asking for blogroll suggestions on the last day of the giveaway, September 30th.

Congrats Rene! “The Beginning Writer’s Book” is a great reference!

I can’t wait for the next question, Christina. I have really been inspired from everyone’s responses, and now know that I’m not alone in my fears as a beginner. As you stated, Onward!

Thanks! I’m so excited to win this book. Its one of the ones I have not read yet, and I’ve heard such good things about Jane Friedman.
