I got my copy of WM yesterday & am already well into it. (I’m quoted on pgs. 50 & 52, if anyone cares!) What a good-looking book! I know authors don’t always have a say in that, but it makes a huge difference. I love the size & design & cover illustration. It feels really fun to read. And I like how it’s broken up into exercises, anecdotes, and description. Just the thing for a busy writer mom like me who only gets time to read in 5- & 10-min. chunks. Kudos to you, Christina!
My copy just arrived–I nearly tackled the UPS man! This is truly one of the most inviting books I’ve ever seen: beautiful, friendly, and accessible–just like the Writer Mama who wrote it! Can’t wait to dive right in!
I got my copy a few days ago and I’ve hardly put it down. What an accessible book – it’s full of so many great ideas for marketing my writing I think I’ll be busy following its suggestions for quite some time.
I love the quote about raising your writing career “the way you raise your kids – day after day after day.” It gives me encouragement to look at what I can do every day and helps me break the things I need to do down into manageable bits so it’s not so overwhelming.
Thanks to Christina for writing a book that should help writer mama’s of all kinds.
Thanks, ladies! You rule!
I just found the site today, but I’ve been reading through the book for a couple of weeks now. Only get an hour to read while my boys are at karate a couple of times a week. Thanks for writing such an easy-to-read book on how to get started. I have a bit of work ahead of me, but at least now I have some knowledge on how to get going!
